Our Mission

We exist to minister to homeschooling families, encouraging them to bring their children up to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love their neighbor as themselves. We seek to provide an atmosphere where God is glorified by everything we say, do, and teach. We encourage parents to grow in their walk with the Lord and to be the iron which sharpens iron.

Do you desire to have a homeschool community?

If your answer is “Yes”, we want to support and encourage your family through the homeschool journey while providing enriching Bible-based classes for your child/children within a Christian community.

Use your common sense in determining whether you should come to co-op.  If you think you may be contagious, err on the side of being safe and stay at home.

Is there a dress code?

No, but we do appreciate students and parents dressing modestly.

Will we have “school” pictures, field trips, parties, or senior graduation?

Yes, there are variety of events throughout the school year. These will be announced during the school year and we will need parent volunteers to make all these fun events happen.

Could someone be asked not to come back to co-op?

Yes, but we do not expect this to happen.  The Leadership of Leesburg Christian Church (Pastor and Elders) could ask a family not to participate in the co-op for any reason that seems in the group’s best interest.

Since the co-op is a ministry of Leesburg Christian Church, what exactly does the church believe?

    • We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God.  It is the authority for our lives, beliefs, and conduct, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, instructing, and training.
    • We believe all things were created by God in six literal days of creation as described in Genesis 1:1- 2:3.
    • We believe in a triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
    • We believe all people are created in the image of God and are worthy of respect and dignity.
    • We believe God created in His image, male and female.  Both are made in the image of God but different.  We believe marriage should be as God created it, between one biological man and one biological woman.
    • We believe all mankind has suffered the consequences of Adam and Eve’s disobedience, the fall of humanity and as a result, all people are lost and hopeless without a perfect, holy Savior.
    • We believe Jesus was made like us in every way so He could be our Savior, being born of a virgin, living a sinless life, dying to satisfy the debt of humanity, rising on the third day, and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf.
    • We believe salvation is a gift from God to all who believe.  God’s prescribed response for a believer is to repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
